Custom GPT

For this assignment, I created a Custom GPT that makes caricatures. I chose this topic because I thought it would be a fun idea, and could be reused with an infinite number of people. I searched Pinterest and Google for caricature reference images to help guide the style I wanted.

The process was somewhat difficult because I had to keep going back into the Create function to edit the instructions. The images took a while to generate, and I needed to adjust the settings with each new image. Some images also came out slightly inappropriate, so I added safety instructions to help prevent that. Another challenge was adding a second person. The GPT would forget what the original person looked like, making it difficult to keep their appearance consistent.

Although the output still needs improvement, I think that narrowing down what the GPT can include in the images could eventually help it create a really good caricature of each person. Each adjustment helped me better understand where clearer instructions were needed.

Overall, this was a fun but sometimes frustrating experience. I mainly see this GPT as a creative tool for entertainment, such as making caricatures of friends and family. Developing it showed me how much trial and error can go into getting a Custom GPT to produce the results I want.
